About us
The Tanzania Leather Products Producers Association (TALEPPA), founded in 2016 and officially registered in 2024, unites over 150 manufacturers of shoes, bags, belts, sofas, and more. As a national platform, TALEPPA drives quality, innovation, and sustainable growth in the leather industry.
Through collaboration, capacity building, and market access, we empower members to create jobs, expand opportunities, and position Tanzania as Africa’s leading hub for premium leather goods.
How to be a member
Membership in TALEPPA is open to all individuals and enterprises engaged in leather production or trade. To remain active, members are required to pay an annual subscription fee of TZS 50,000
